Approximate dimensions<\/h3>\n\nA 20 ft container measures approx. 6,06 × 2,44 × 2,59 m externally (L×W×H) and holds around 33 m³; a 40 ft standard container measures approx. 12,19 × 2,44 × 2,59 m with around 67 m³. With the High Cube, the height rises to approx. 2,90 m externally and 2,70 m internally. The double doors at the end are the same width on 20 ft and 40 ft containers (approx. 2,34 m), so Euro pallets can be loaded crosswise.\n\n

What should you look out for when buying?<\/h3>\n\nThe key factors are overall condition, floor condition, the tightness of the door seals and the degree of rust on the welded seams. For stationary storage, a used 20 ft container is usually sufficient; for conversion projects, an as-new High Cube is recommended.
