Coin Container organises container transport within Germany and across Europe.
Depending on the delivery location, container availability and the preferred offloading method, transport can be organised by truck, crane truck, side loader, rail or inland vessel. Combined transport routes are also possible.
We check not only the distance to the customer, but also at which depot a suitable container is available and from which location delivery can be organised in an economically sensible way.

Delivering containers from the right depot
An important factor in transport costs is the distance between the container depot and the delivery location.
For this reason, a container for a customer in Germany does not automatically have to be delivered from Hamburg.
If the delivery location is in western Germany, for example, Coin Container also checks stock in Rotterdam or Antwerp, depending on container type and availability.
If a suitable container is available there and the overall calculation makes economic sense, delivery from that depot to the customer can be organised.
This can reduce transport distances and transport costs. Shorter truck routes can also reduce fuel consumption and transport-related emissions.
The geographically nearest depot is not automatically the most cost-effective solution. What matters is the overall calculation:
Container price + availability + depot location + transport costs

Container deliveries in Germany and Europe
Coin Container organises container transport throughout Germany and to various European destinations.
Depending on the order and availability, deliveries are possible, for example, within or between Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, Spain, Italy and Croatia.
We assess other European destinations individually.
| Example route | Possible transport solution |
|---|---|
| Hamburg → northern/eastern Germany | Truck / crane truck / side loader |
| Rotterdam / Antwerp → western Germany | Truck / crane truck / side loader |
| Hamburg → southern Germany | Truck or rail + truck / crane truck |
| Germany → Switzerland | Truck / combined transport |
| Germany → Benelux | Truck / inland vessel / combined |
| long-distance European routes | Truck / rail / inland vessel + truck |
The routes listed are examples. The specific solution depends on container availability, depot, destination and delivery requirements.
Container transport by truck, rail or inland vessel
Truck
Trucks enable flexible, direct delivery from the depot or terminal to the customer.
Depending on local conditions, the container can be delivered on a container chassis or with offloading by crane truck or side loader.

Rail
For longer distances, rail can be an alternative or a complement to direct truck transport.
The main leg can be carried out by rail and then combined with a truck for the final leg to the customer.
Inland vessel
Depending on the regions of origin and destination, an inland vessel can also be part of the transport chain.
For example:
Seaport / depot → inland vessel → inland port / terminal → truck → customer
Which mode of transport or combination makes sense depends on the specific route.
