Cargo Worthy ("fit to carry cargo") is the highest of the common condition grades for used containers. A CW container has no structural damage, closes tightly, has a load-bearing floor and a valid CSC plate – so it may be used in international sea transport again.
For outdoor storage on your own property, CW is usually more than needed; the grade Wind and Watertightis sufficient there. CW is worthwhile if you want to ship the container yourself or if you need some margin in both appearance and technical condition – for example for a conversion that is meant to last many years.
