A One-way container (also “one-trip”) is built in Asia, shipped to Europe once with a load of cargo and then sold. It is practically new: flawless paint, undamaged floor, tight seals – at a price below that of a brand-new container, because the sea voyage partly covers the logistics costs.
One-way is worthwhile if the appearance matters (visible placement, conversion, showcase use) or if you want a long reserve of service life. For a simple outdoor storage area, a used container in Wind and Watertightcondition is usually sufficient. One-way containers are often available in custom colours such as RAL 7016 or RAL 9010.
To buy: Buy a one-way container.
